What Are LG Pro:Centric Solution and LG Quick Menu? How Do They Enhance Hospitality TV?
LG Quick Menu is a basic function available on all LG Hospitality TVs, serving as the main TV menu for general hotel use, such as channel selection, clock display, input access, and basic hotel information. LG Quick Menu is designed to work immediately without relying on external systems, servers, or additional software installation. It represents the most basic level of the in-room TV experience in hotels.
Conceptually, LG Quick Menu follows the traditional TV menu structure, where the TV operates as a standalone display device that guests can use instantly. However, it is not designed to fully manage the guest experience, as it does not support room-level user context, hotel system integration, or centralized management. Therefore, Quick Menu is suitable for properties that simply want an easy-to-use TV with a hotel look without implementing a full hospitality system.
LG Pro:Centric Solution is a direct evolution of LG Quick Menu. Structurally, LG Quick Menu can be seen as the base layer, while LG Pro:Centric Solution is the system that controls and extends TV menu behavior into a full Hospitality Platform. When LG Pro:Centric Solution is enabled, it replaces or overlays LG Quick Menu with a hotel-focused UI/UX, including welcome screens, service menus, hotel information, and brand identity.
In the case of LG Pro:Centric V, which is the entry-level tier of LG Pro:Centric Solution, the system still operates within the TV itself, similar to LG Quick Menu. However, it is upgraded into a clearly defined hospitality menu structure with organized navigation, hotel templates, and a stronger service system feel rather than a simple TV menu. Although it does not require a server or PMS/HMS integration, it represents an official step from LG Quick Menu toward a hospitality system.
When moving to LG Pro:Centric Direct and LG Pro:Centric Cloud, LG Quick Menu is no longer the central point of operation. Instead, it becomes part of a system architecture controlled by LG Electronics on-premise server or cloud platform. The in-room TV functions as a client, receiving commands, screen layouts, and data from the central systemsuch as guest information from PMS/HMS, personalized welcome messages, or in-room servicescapabilities that LG Quick Menu alone cannot provide.
In summary, LG Quick Menu is the starting point of the hospitality experience on LG Hospitality TV, serving as a basic standalone menu. LG Pro:Centric Solution is the evolution of Quick Menu, transforming the TV from a viewing device into a hotel service platform. Hotels can flexibly choose from Quick Menu, Pro:Centric V, Pro:Centric Direct, or LG Pro:Centric Cloud based on the number of TV endpoints, budget, and their overall management strategy.
