Armed with 16 native GPON ports, the DS-P7001-16 natively supports a standard 1:128 optical splitting ratio per port, enabling a single 1U hardware assembly to concurrently manage and provision up to 2048 registered Optical Network Terminals (ONTs/ONUs). It delivers lightning-fast maximum fiber transmission rates of up to 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream. To handle heavy data aggregation from 16 active fiber streams, the upstream backend provides 2x 10-Gigabit SFP+ slots for dual-trunk redundancy or high-capacity uplink core feeding, alongside 1x Gigabit RJ45 LAN port. Automated profile provisioning, dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA), centralized batch updates, and complete Layer 2/Layer 3 management tools are fully adjustable via unified centralization dashboards.
